Byron's story

Byron Jenkins graduated from the University of West Georgia in July 2014. His professional career in journalism began as a photojournalist in Montgomery, Alabama. In 2016, Jenkins then moved further south where he became a reporter at the NBC and CBS affiliate in Panama City Beach, Florida. In 2018, Jenkins' commitment to journalism led him to the position of East Alabama Bureau Chief at WBMA. 

Throughout his career, he has excelled in many roles, establishing himself as a dedicated copywriter, journalist, and digital communication expert. Currently, Jenkins is a digital copywriter and marketing professional at The Home Depot where he collaborates with cross-functional teams to create sales-driven and search engine-focused product copy, effectively translating technical details into customer-friendly content.
